Exercise Programs

Exercise is an essential part of correcting and preventing subluxation and spinal joint dysfunction

Regular exercise, along with proper diet, will increase your chances of staying well and slowing down the aging process. Other benefits of regular exercise are increased energy, stamina, and a better body shape.

We encourage all patients to work on flexibility exercises, cardiovascular, and strength training.

Muscle is youth! Every decade, from age 40, the average person loses 6.6 pounds of muscle. Unfortunately, fat replaces muscle tissue. The less muscle a person has, the less they can eat without gaining weight, because they have less active tissue to burn calories, whether at rest or during exercise. The average 25 year old man has 18% body fat, but by age 65 he has 38% body fat! Much of that fat gain is due to the loss of vital, active, calorie burning muscle.

Whether your goal is strengthening your core or getting your body in shape, Dr. Tuttle will design a program just for you, to help strengthen and correct your specific areas of concern.
